Snowdonia Marathon Eryri 2022
The Snowdonia Marathon Eryri first held in 1982 took place October 29th 2022 with Daniel Kashi and Caroline Brock taking the men’s and women’s crowns at one of the Wales’s most prestigious marathons.
The race – which had seen a three-year break due to the pandemic – celebrated its 40th anniversary this year – and is one of the most historic road marathons in the UK. Its route makes a circumnavigation of the Snowdon massif, starting just outside Llanberis on the A4086, then climbs to the top of the Llanberis Pass,heading south through Bethania and Beddgelert before returning north via Rhyd Ddu and waunfawr before finishing on Llanberis High Street. It is held annually in October.
