Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2022

Almost 40,000 runners took to the streets of Singapore at Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) 2022 last weekend December 4th with more than 5,000 international participants. The marathon starts at the F1 Pit Building and the finish line is at The Float @ Marina Bay.
The Flag-off time of 4:30am was delayed by an hour due to lightning.
One of the largest running events in Southeast Asia, SCSM was first established in 1982, originally known as the Singapore Marathon, the event features a Half Marathon (21.1km) as well as 10 km and 5 km routes.
The race was dominated by Kenyans and the winner was
Ezekiel Kemboi Omullo (KEN)  in 2:19:20 and first woman was Esther Wanjiru Macharia (KEN) in 2:44:09.
